Terrorist Rocket Attack against Homs Oil Refinery

HOMS, (ST)-  The terrorist takfiri organizations having positions in al-Houla area in Homs fired a rocket on Homs oil refinery causing huge fire.

The attacks comes with the framework of the terrorist groups’ targeting of the country’s infrastructure and economic facilities.

“A rocket attack fell on the diesel fuel pipeline in the northeastern side of the refinery  causing fire and material damage in the site, according to the refinery’s director Ali Tarraf.  

He pointed out that firemen working in the refinery controlled the fire completely before it expands to mechanical equipments.

  The terrorist organizations positioned in the northern countryside of Homs continue to target Homs infrastructure and residential neighborhoods with rockets and mortar shells. Yesterday the terrorists fired a number of shells on al-Hamra, al-Arman and Karm Ellouz districts claiming the life of a person and wounding 12 others.
