Terrorist groups attack two potable water wells outside Sweida

SWEIDA,(ST)_Terrorist groups have attacked two potable water wells outside Sweida province, a police command source said on Sunday.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that terrorist groups attacked last midnight potable water well project in al-Khaledeyeh town on the outskirts of Sweida province.

“A worker for the Potable Water General Establishment plus another civilian were martyred during the attack,” the source said.

It added that the terrorist groups had booby trapped and blasted electricity converter of another potable water well on Eriqa-Dama road, located between Sweida and Daraa provinces.

The source confirmed that the two water wells became out of service due to the attacks.

On August 4th, terrorist groups kidnapped 14 electrical workers as they were repairing a high-voltage power line that feeds Aleppo and Idlib provinces with power.

Since the beginning of the crisis and until March 2014, almost 38 electrical workers have been abducted by terrorist groups.
