Terrorist fire kills 16 in Damascus and Aleppo in two days

PROVINCES,(ST)_Terrorist organizations escalated their attacks on residential areas in Damascus and Aleppo for the second day running.

At least 13 persons were wounded today when 4 mortar shells, fired by terrorists, fell near the ‘al-Sheikh Reslan’ mosque in Bab Touma quarter and in Baghdad street quarter in Damascus, according to a police command source.

The source added that the wounded persons were admitted to the French Hospital.

More persons were wounded and several cars were damaged when 14 Katyusha rockets  and mortars hit Mazra’a, Fahhameh, Malki, Mohajrin, Qassa’a, Bab Sharqi, Qosor, Abbaseyen, Sheikh Mehyedden and Zablatani areas in the capital [Damascus, according to the YomyatKzefehHawen website.

The rockets and mortars were fired by terrorist organizations holed up in Jobar quarter  near Damascus and in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, the official news agency (SANA) said, adding that 7 mortar shells hit Daheyet Harasta suburb in Damascus countryside , causing damage to several cars and shops.  

Yesterday terrorists fired 85 mortar shells hit Damascus and its suburb, killing 2 persons and wounding 38 others.

In the northern Aleppo province, terrorist organizations fired  today rockets from Bani Zied quarter in Aleppo city on al-Khaledeyeh quarter in the same city, killing 2 persons and wounding 2 others.

At least 9 persons  were wounded in rocket attack took place yesterday on al-Mokambo quarter in the city of Aleppo.

Terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘Shohadaa Bader’ brigade [Bader Martyrs] spread in Bani Zied quarter and they repeatedly target safe residential areas in Aleppo city with rockets and mortars in an implementation of Saudi and Turkish regimes’ agendas.
