DAMASCUS,(ST)_Terrorists exploded on Monday a booby-trapped car in al-Sabee Bahrat area in the capital, with reports of many casualties.
According to Al-Ekhbareya al-Soureya TV channel, the terrorist blast took place between al-Sabee Bahrat and al-Shahbandar areas, near al-Bokhari school, in Damascus.
At least 15 citizens were martyred and other 53 ones were wounded by the blast which happened in the peak of the rush hour in the city.
Children were reportedly among casualties.
A footage aired by the TV channel showed charred remains of the cars and serious damages in the school, al-B’era Mosque and homes at the scene.
On the other hand, SANA reporter denied reports that clashes broke out at the scene, noting that the sound of the several gunshots heard at the scene was to open the road before fire engines.

Prime Minister, Wael al-Halq, inspected the damages caused by the terrorist car blast and stressed that Syria will go ahead with fighting terrorism.
It is worthy to note that the Syrian Arab Army is advancing in several areas in Damascus countryside, Homs, and Aleppo.
