Terrorist blasts kill at least 8 civilians in Der Ezzour and Hassaka

PROVINCES,(ST)_Terrorist attacks have killed at least 8 civilians and wounded 12 others in provinces of Der Ezzour, Hassaka and Damascus countryside, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency said today that a suicide bomber ,called Abo Mojaged al-Jezrawi from the “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’ (ISIL), blew up a car bomb at the entry of Ghranij town in Der Ezzour countryside, killing 7 civilians and wounding 3 others.

Heavy damages to several houses were visible at the scene of the explosion.

A second explosion occurred in northeastern Hassaka province where terrorists exploded a booby trap attached to a motorcycle in Souq al-Ghanam [Sheep market] in Jam’aya town in Qameshli countryside.

The explosion killed a 12-year- old girl and wounded almost 6 other civilians, a source at the province of Hassaka told the agency’s reporter.

Mortar and missile attacks

Two more girls were among five civilians wounded last night by mortar attack on Tal Hajar quarter in Hassaka city.

The terrorists fired two shells on the said quarter, the agency said.

In Damascus countryside, a mother and her two boys were wounded today by missile attack on al-Qtefeh city.

The missile attack, which was carried out by terrorist groups, caused material damages at the scene.
