PROVINCES,(ST)-Terrorist attacks killed on Wednesday nine civilians and wounded 66 others in Homs city and Damascus countryside, according to the official news agency (SANA).
The agency reported that a car bomb was exploded near the Police Houses’ square at the entry of the ‘Beit al-Tawel’ Street in Wad al-Dahab quarter of Homs city.
At least two civilians were martyred and 26 others wounded by the blast which left widespread damages to several houses and shops at the scene.
Last Sunday, terrorists exploded a car bomb in al-Arman quarter in Homs city, killing seven civilians and wounding 21 others.
Another terrorist attack ripped through Damascus countryside when two shells landed in al-Wafedin Camp, killing seven civilians and wounding 40 others.
Almost five children were among the civilians martyred by the mortar attack, a police command source said, adding that most of the civilians wounded by the attack were children.
In the same province [Damascus countryside], three shells hit Daheyet Harasta where a civilian was wounded and several houses and cars were damaged.
Another civilian was wounded as a shell-fired by terrorists- struck Souq al-Hal [vegetables and fruits market] in al-Zablatani quarter in Damascus.
