Terrorist attacks kill at least four civilians in Damascus, Aleppo and Homs

PROVINCES,(ST)_Five terrorist attacks have ripped through urban areas in Damascus, Aleppo and Homs, leaving casualties, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency said today that three shells- fired by terrorists- hit three houses in areas of al-Abbaseyen and al-Ghassani in the capital [Damascus] where a fiver-year old girl was martyred and a civilian was wounded.

The mortar attacks left material damages to the houses, a source at police command said.

The source refuted Sky News TV channel report that an explosion took place in the Police Club in Masaken Barzeh quarter.

Shells hit al-Azezeyeh quarter

In Aleppo city, precisely in al-Azezeyeh quarter, a mortar attack killed at least two civilians and wounded five others, the agency reported, noting that several shells struck the quarter for the second day running. 

Yesterday, several shells- fired by terrorist- landed on the ‘al-Sallom’ Hospital and ‘Planet’ Hotel in the quarter of al-Azezeyeh as well as on al-Telal quarter, al-Neil Street and Aleppo university.

The mortar attack killed at least 12 civilians, mostly university students, and wounded 52 others.

Car bomb blast in Homs

The fourth terrorist attack took place in Homs province as terrorists blasted a car bomb near Tal Omri on the main road linking Salameyeh and Homs city.

Almost a civilian was martyred and two others wounded by the explosion.

Tow more civilians were wounded when two missiles- launched by terrorists-hit Jabborin town outside Homs.
