Terrorist Attacks Kill Almost 6 Civilians in Hassaka and Damascus Countryside

PROVINCES,(ST)_Terrorist attacks killed at least six civilians in north-eastern province of Hassaka and in Damascus countryside, the official news agency (SANA) reported on Saturday.

The agency clarified that a suicide bomber blew up a car bomb at Souq al-Hal square in Hassaka city where almost three civilians were martyred and several others, including children, wounded.

On January 23, a terrorist explosion killed five civilians in al-Malekeyeh city in the same province [Hassaka].

7 Shells hit Damascus and its countryside

Other terrorist attacks took place today in Jaramana, Qatana and Daheyet Harasta areas outside Damascus and in Bab Tuma and al-Hamedeyeh areas in the capital [Damascus].

Some seven shells-fired by terrorists- struck the said areas.

At least three civilians, including two children, were martyred and more than 17 others wounded by the mortar attacks which also caused damages to several houses and cars at the scene.

Three children were among the wounded civilians, according to a police command source.
