Terrorist Attacks against Syrians Perpetrated with Huge Turkish, Saudi and Qatar Support: Foreign Ministry

DAMASCUS–The terrorist blasts, massacres and random shelling being committed against the Syrians by ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and their affiliated terrorist groups come within the framework of the criminal and fascist policies of the Turkish regime under Erdogan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Saturday, noting that these crimes are being perpetrated with full financial and military support by the regimes of Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

In two identical letters to the UN Chief and President of the Security Council, the ministry talked about the twin terrorist bombings that rocked al-Sayyida Zainab town in Damascus Countryside on Saturday and claimed the lives of at least 12 people and about the horrible massacre in which ISIS terrorists killed 40 civilians in Ghandoura village in the countryside of Aleppo province on Friday. The letters also dealt with the continuous random shelling of Aleppo neighborhoods by Jabhat al-Nusra its affiliated groups.

According to the ministry, the government of the Syrian Arab Republic calls on the United Nations and the Security Council to condemn these terrorist attacks and shoulder their responsibility  as regards preserving international peace and security through adopting immediate deterrent and punitive measures against the countries and regimes that support and finance terrorism, particularly those of Ankara, Riyadh and Doha.
