Terrorist attack kills 11 soldiers and 2 civilians on Raqqa-Homs road

RAQQA, Jun.20, (ST)- At least 11 soldiers and 2 civilians were martyred as a result of a terrorist attack that targeted their bus this morning on the Raqqa-Homs road.

According to a military source, the terrorist attack took place today at 6:30 am and it targeted a civilian bus at Al-Jera area on Raqqa-Homs road where 11 soldiers and 2 civilians were martyred and 3 other soldiers were wounded.

Over the past months, media reports have said that the US occupation forces transport hundreds of ISIS terrorists from Iraq and from the prisons, which are under the control of the “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia in Hasaka, to the vicinity of the occupation base in the Al-Tanf area on the Syrian-Jordanian border in preparation  for them to be  deployed  in the Syrian desert with the aim of carrying out terrorist attacks against the Syrian state and its citizens.
