Terrorism Supporting Countries Responsible for Khan al-Asal Crime- Information Minister

DAMASCUS,(ST)- Minister of Information Omran al-Zou’bi   today (Tuesday) held countries which armed the opposition responsible for  the massacre  took place in Khan al-Asal in Aleppo, stressing that terrorists firing a missile containing chemicals from Kafr Dael in al-Neirab area against Khan al-Asal area in Aleppo constitutes a dangerous escalation.

In a statement to reporters today  the minister said that the government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and chiefdom  of Qatar bear legal, moral and humanitarian responsibility   for the crime committed by the terrorists in Khan al-Asal ,  resulted in killing  16 civilians and wounding  86, mostly in critical conditions, pointing out that this crime is the first effects of the  Arab League Council’s  resolution at the ministerial level.

The Minister continued that  the international community and countries that finance , arm and harbor terrorists, should be held responsible for   this crime  in which terrorists used a prohibited weapon , according to  the rules of international law, stressing that the use of this internationally banned  weapon is a grave change in the events happening in Syria at the security and military levels.

The minister noted  that committing such a crime made  the Syria government  entitled to act according to the rules of international law and appeal  to international and regional organizations to  prosecute and complain against  states that armed the  opposition with  internationally -prohibited weapons.

Earlier in the day, terrorists  fired one missile  containing chemicals in Khan al-Asal area in rural Aleppo.

Preliminary information indicated the attack resulted in killing 16 persons, mostly civilians  and wounding many others.
