Undoubtedly, the US administration and the western and regional powers that have contributed in the war in Syria are no more sincere in their claim about seeking to form an international coalition to confront terrorism, whether Daesh or any other terrorist organizations. It is unbelievable that these states intend to fight terrorism at the time that they are supporting and encouraging it in all possible ways either directly or through their allies in the region.
Talking about an international coalition against Daesh is not due to the US and its proxies’ humanitarian and moral considerations. On the contrary , it is due but to the political considerations that realize their interests in the region as a whole.
The regional and western powers’ strategies in targeting Syria lie in finding a justification for a direct military intervention in Syria after the failure of betting on the armed terrorist groups in their various names.
The use of terrorism or threat of using it is but a means of practicing pressure and political blackmail on the countries as happened in Iraq. Without any doubt, this reflects the lack of values and morals. Thus, there is no need any more to deceive the world public opinion through political statements, media disinformation and claims of launching war.
