Terror attacks kill 7 and wound 40 in Damascus, Aleppo, Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Mortar attacks have killed at least 3 persons and wounded over 25 others in Damascus, Daraa and Aleppo, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted a police command source in Damascus as saying that terrorists fired today a mortar round on al-Mazraa quarter, killing one person and wounding three others.

The terror attack caused damage to several homes, cars and shops at the scene, the source added.

Two days ago, the terrorist organizations, which are holed up in the western edge of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, fired a mortar round on al-Faiha’a stadium in the same quarter [Mazraa], killing one persons and wounding another.

More five persons were wounded today when terrorists fired a mortar round on al-Wafidin camp at the northern entrance of Damascus, SANA said, adding that three mortar round hit Daheyet Harasta leaving material damage without casualties.  

Other terror attacks took place in southern Daraa province where terrorists fired mortar rounds on al-Matar quarter in the city of Daraa and on Izraa city.

As many as 7 persons were martyred and 15 others wounded in the mortar attack on Izraa city, according to the Alikhbaria Syria TV channel.

The same channel said that terrorists fired today shells on al-Ashrafeyeh area in Aleppo city, killing 2 children and wounding 17 persons.

The US, France, the UK, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Israel support terrorist organizations operating in Syria, world media reports confirm.
