Ten new Coronavirus cases detected in Syria, raising the number of infections to 338

DAMASCUS- The Syrian Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 10 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the country for persons who were in close contact with other infected people.

The new cases rise the total number of infections to 338, of which 123 have recovered and 10 have died, according to the ministry.

The first case of Coronavirus was confirmed on March 22, 2020 for a person who had come from abroad. The first death took place on March 29.
