Ten more breaches of the cessation of hostilities agreement observed

Lattakia  – The Russian center monitoring the agreement said that the cessation of hostilities agreement was breached ten more times by the terrorist groups over the past 24 hours, SANA reported.

The Center, based in Hmeimim air base, added in a statement that the so-called Jaish al-Islam terrorist organization fired mortar shells on four towns in the Eastern Ghota in Damascus Countryside, and on the neighborhoods of al-Qaboun and Joubar in Damascus, while the so-called Ahrar al-Sham terrorist organization shelled the villages of al-Qantara and Qinsabba in Lattakia province.

The Center added that the number of the areas which have joined the cessation of hostilities agreement reached at 388.

It indicated that terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and the ISIS shelled a number of towns in Damascus Countryside, Quneitra and Aleppo over the past 24 hours.

The Center added that Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists killed 40 of their members and their families in al-Ansari village in Aleppo who wanted to hand over their arms and to get out of the city through the humanitarian corridors to the areas which are under the control of the Syrian Arab army.

A Russian plane also delivered 22 tons of the humanitarian aid to the locals in Deir Ezzor City, according to the Center.

The cessation of hostilities agreement does not include ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups designated as terrorist organizations by the UN Security Council.
