Tehran: US Plans in Syria Have Failed

TEHRAN- Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh affirmed the US plans in Syria have failed, noting that the US presence in the country was to support armed terrorist organizations, according to SANA.

Iranian television quoted Falahatpisheh as saying on Monday that the US has not provided any help that may contribute to stabilizing the situation in Syria; rather the Americans came to the country to rescue the terrorists in order to use them in their future projects.

He indicated that Iran has offered all the assistance it could provide to Syria during the crisis, and it is working to develop the bilateral relations with Syria in various fields.
