Moscow– A senior Iranian foreign ministry official said that Tehran and Moscow are going to increase cooperation on Iran’s nuclear negotiations.

Deputy for the ministry for political and security affairs Hamid Baeedinezhad said that Iranian and Russian parties have agreed to expand cooperation on the present stage of nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1.

The Iranian official arrived in Moscow on Wednesday leading a delegation to discuss Iran’s nuclear talks with Russian officials.

Bill to support nuclear negotiators, says Karkhane

On the other hand,  Parliament (Majlis) approval of the binding bill for safeguarding nuclear achievements is aimed at supporting nuclear negotiating team, an MP said here on Wednesday.

Talking to IRNA, Chairman of the Parliamentˈs Nuclear Committee EbrahimKarkhane said the Iranian nuclear negotiating team should know that Majlis will firmly support them.

ˈYesterday, Majlis approved a single-urgency motion to oblige the government to safeguard the country’s nuclear achievements and it would turn to a law after evaluating by the lawmakers,ˈKarkhane added.

He pointed out that the bill would be evaluated by Majlis Energy Commission and National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in near future.

Iranian lawmakers approved a motion on Tuesday which, if turned to a law, aims to oblige the government to safeguard the country’s nuclear achievements in case of newly-imposed sanctions by the US.

If the bill is passed through the final approval, the government will be obliged to cancel the Geneva agreement and return Iran’s nuclear measures to the point before the agreement once the United States Congress imposes further sanctions against Iran.
