Technical staff at Ministry of Oil begin fixing oil terminals in Baniyas

On January 28, technical and working staff at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources began repairing the damage of the marine oil network in Baniyas due to a terrorist attack with improvised explosive devices on January 25.

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Ali Ghanem toured the headquarters of the Syrian Oil Transportation Company and the Baniyas marine oil network

Ghanem said that the oil network did not go out of service and continues to receive oil supplies as there is an alternative plan that guarantees the continuation of work in such emergency cases.

Head of the Marine Technical Division at the Baniyas Marine Oil Terminals said that workshops and divers began repair operations immediately after assessing the damage.
