Teams of Syrian Trust for Development continue working relentlessly to assist families affected by fires in Lattakia countryside

Lattakia- Great efforts are being exerted by the teams of the Syrian Trust for Development with the aim of providing aid to the families affected by fires that erupted in several areas in Lattakia countryside.

The Trust’s teams, in cooperation with the local communities and government bodies, have worked relentlessly, since the first day of the fire incidents, to provide assistance to the people who were forced to leave their houses because of the fires through providing urgent relief aid, including foodstuffs, tents, and temporary residence requirements.

The Trust indicated that the teams, deployed in more than six locations, are monitoring and documenting the basic needs as a first stage, until the effects of the damage caused by the fire are assessed, noting the difficult working circumstances that face the efforts of firefighters and villagers, especially in the mountainous areas.
