Tartous Governor Calls on Residents to Return to their Homes after Defeating Remnants of Former Regime

Tartus Governor Ahmad Al-Shami called in a statement for residents to return to their homes after defeating the remnants of the ousted regime.

The statement, published by the media office of Tartous Governorate on its facebook page said: “to our dear people in Tartous, we urge you to return to your homes after defeating the remnants of the ousted regime. We assure you that the army and general security forces are deployed throughout the governorate to ensure your safety, protect your property and establish security and stability.”

The statement added: “We rely on your awareness and your cooperation with the security forces, as joint cooperation is the way to solidify security and restore normalcy. Let us stand united against anyone who attempts to destabilize our governorate, and let us work together for a safer and more prosperous future. May God protect Tartous and its people.”
