Damascus (ST): The Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Amre Salem, discussed with a delegation from the Jordan Chamber of Commerce ways to develop economic cooperation and trade exchange relations between Syria and Jordan.
During the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, the two sides discussed the needs of the two countries’ markets to establish Syrian-Jordanian companies, provide various goods and services, and work on holding Syrian exhibitions on Jordanian soil to display Syrian goods and products.
Minister Salem noted the depth of the relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, stressing the need to overcome all difficulties and obstacles that impede ways of cooperation between the two countries and to provide facilities that develop joint work and develop it to advanced stages.
In turn, Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce Na’el Kabariti stressed the keenness of the Jordanian commercial and economic sector to establish strategic relations and build real partnerships with the Syrian side in order to achieve the common interests of the two countries.
