Head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Talal Arslan, affirmed that the West’s bets to destroy Syria through waging a global war against it have failed.
In a press interview published on Saturday, Arslan said that the influence of the West after the global war on Syria, in which more than 80 countries participated, made some follow the flow of hostility pursued against Damascus in an attempt to change the true face of Syria. He pointed out that the hostile bets failed and those who had antagonized Syria have started to return to it.
Arslan pointed out that it is in everyone’s interest to have strong relations with Syria that are heading for the better despite unilateral coercive measures, stressing that Syria is firm in its position ..
On the relations between Lebanon and Iran, Arslan affirmed that Iranian support for Lebanon continues and is not a new thing.
