Tal Tamer power substation out of service for the second time in a week because of Turkish shelling

The Tal Tamer power substation (20/66 KV) on Wednesday went out of service for the second time within a week as a result of an attack by the Turkish occupation forces on the power lines supplying the substation.

Director of Hasakah Electricity Company Anwar Okla told a SANA reporter that the substation and the residential areas in its vicinity in Hasakah countryside came under heavy shelling by the Turkish occupation forces. The attack damaged the power line 66 KV that supplies the substation with power which rendered it inoperable.

He pointed out that maintenance works are underway to fix the damage so that the power substation can be put into service again as soon as possible.

Last week, the Tal Tamer substation also went out of service also because of Turkish shelling.
