TakfirisHandiwork of US, UK, Zionist Entity, Says Safavi

Takfiri groups are the creature of the United States, the United Kingdom and Zionist entity, a senior Iranian military official says.

“Takfiri groups are the product of the intelligence services of Britain, the Zionist regime [of Isreal] and the United States,” Major General YahyaRahim-Safavi said on Wednesday.

“Using these groups, the hegemonic system seeks to instigate war and division among countries and to prevent Islamic awakening of the Muslim nations,” he added.

By trying to sow discord among Muslims, the commander said, hegemonic powers aim to provide security for the Tel Aviv regime.

Among the objectives that American, British and Israeli intelligence services pursue are to mislead youth and “undermine Iran’s political and spiritual influence” in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, he said.

Takfiri militants have been carrying out horrific acts of violence, including public decapitations and crucifixions, against all Syrian and Iraqi communities.

The West and its regional allies, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, are giving financial and military support to the militants.

Washington has launched hundreds of airstrikes against the ISIL militants in Iraq and Syria, which analysts regard as part of the US attempts to gradually spread its influence in Iraq.
