Taghreed Shaibani Exhibition … Variety of composition and appropriate color selections

Several discussions took place at the end of the artist Taghreed Shaibani plastic exhibition held by the Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh on participating exhibits, which were mixed with artistic hand-shaping in appropriate color selections for the themes.

Artist Taghreed Shaibani pointed out that she introduced stone sculptures of her creative composition into her exhibition in an innovative projection of what the Odyssey means, indicating that she tried to translate reality with another artistic style based on stones and color formations.

Shaibani added that through sculpture and plastic composition, she has reached what she loves about nature and the meanings that are mixed in her soul, such as the sea and the beach.

Women were one of the most important topics that  provided many insights and ideas  and showed different aesthetics from ancient to modern times to combine originality and modernity.

As for the painting, the artist Shaibani pointed out that she used oil and acrylic colors and moved away from the style she used in stones, which made her exhibition more comprehensive in the field of creativity.

About the exhibition, the director of Damascus culture Naima Suleiman said, ” the exhibition of  artist Shaibani differs in the multiplicity and diversity of its components, including sculpture, painting, composition, reality and the past, it was full of creativity, and this is what makes us encourage the presence of artists who challenge reality, especially in the world of women.”

In a statement to SANA, the head of the Cultural Center, Ammar Baklah, said that women played an important role in activating the cultural movement, especially at the level of plastic art, which has remained at its creative level, unlike many creative products that have been influenced by the transformations of the current era, and the artist Taghreed al-Shaibani is a model.
