Tabqa-Abwab tension line is out of service due to the dust storm in Hasakeh

Hasakeh (ST): The dust storm that hit Hasakeh Governorate yesterday led to the exit of the 230-kV electric tension line.

In a statement to news reporter, General Manager of Hasakeh Electricity Company, Eng. Anwar Okla, said that the company’s workshops are examining the route of the tension line from Raqqa governorate to Hasakeh to determine the location of the damage and begin repairing it to recharge the electricity as soon as possible since the line is the main feeder for the cities and countryside of Hasakeh.

He pointed out that the company will currently provide electrical feeding to the service lines that are excluded from the electrical rationing programs “water, hospitals, bakeries and communications” from the quantities produced in  Al-Sweidieh generation facility pending the repair of the “Tabaqa-Abwab” tension line.
