Tabbaa discusses with the Director of the Saudi Mawhiba Foundation ways to enhance educational cooperation to support the distinguished
Rabat (ST) – On the sidelines of the 13th Conference of Arab Ministers of Education, held under the auspices of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), currently being held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabaa, discussed on Wednesday with the Director General of the Saudi (Mawhiba) Foundation, Dr. Khaled bin Muhammad Al-Sharif, prospects for joint cooperation.
Minister Tabbaa indicated Syria’s interest in the field of excellence, creativity and gifted care through a number of educational programs and activities for the distinguished of different age groups.
During the meeting, Syria was invited to participate with a number of Arab countries in an annual event organized by the Mawhiba Foundation, which begins in June and ends in September.
It is noteworthy that the Mawhiba Foundation is a Saudi institution that aims to discover and nurture creative people in the scientific fields, and to contribute to build a system and model for talent and creativity locally, regionally and globally.
The work of the 13th conference of Arab Ministers of Education started on Monday in Morocco under the title (The future of education in the Arab world in the era of digital transformation) and ends today, when a meeting of Arab ministers of education will be held.
