Tabbaa discusses with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Lebanese Embassy in Damascus cooperation in the educational sector

The Minister of Education, Dr. Darm Tabaa, discussed today with the Chargé d’Affairs of the Lebanese Embassy in Damascus, Talal Daher, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the educational sector and the importance of its development between the two countries.

The Minister referred to the Ministry’s role in receiving Syrian students coming from Lebanon to take their general exams every year, and secure their requirements and the need to coordinate between the two sides, in a way that serves the interest of students. 

For his part, Daher talked about the rooted relations that link the two countries and the role of the education sector in achieving the goals of sustainable development and influencing and developing society. 

He expressed the readiness of the Lebanese side to cooperate in the field of developing educational relations, in a way that enhances children’s opportunities in education.
