Syria’s Turkmen are Syrians: MP Turkmani

DAMASCUS,(ST)_The MP, Mohammad Abbas Turkmani, sees the Turkish Foreign Minister’s recent remark about Syria’s Turkmen “irrational and irresponsible”.

On  the Thursday-People’s Assembly session, the MP said: “The Turkish FM’s remark on Syria’s Turkmen, in which he considered Syria’s Turkmen part of the Turkish fabric,proves a lack of knowledge about geography.The Turkmen in Syria are Syrians who are ready to defend their homeland.”  

According to SANA, the session dealt with bill on organizing Dentists Union’s work, irrigation of Manbej plain and citizens’ basic needs across Syria.
