Syria’s new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Tunisia presents his credentials to the Tunisian President
Ambassador Mohammad Mohammad presented his credentials to Tunisian President Kais Saied as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Tunisia.
The credentials presentation ceremony took place at the Carthage Presidential Palace in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nabil Ammar and the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Republic, Walid Al-Hajjam.
Ambassador Mohammad conveyed the greetings of President Bashar Al-Assad to President Kais Saied and his wishes of further progress, prosperity and development to the brotherly Tunisian people.
For his part, President Kais Saied explained that what unites Syria and Tunisia are fraternal relations rooted in history, stressing his keenness to strengthen and develop bilateral relations in all fields for the benefit of the two brotherly countries and peoples. He also stressed the need to respect Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
The Tunisian President asked Ambassador Mohammad to convey his sincere greetings to President Al-Assad and his wishes for Syria’s recovery and for continued safety and stability to the Syrian people, stressing the importance of Syria’s return to its glory, its natural role, and its distinguished presence at the Arab and international levels.
