Syria’s delegation to the 21st international meeting under Astana format meets with the Russian delegation

The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic to the 21st international meeting on Syria under the Astana format led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Bassam Sabbagh, met with the Russian delegation led by Russian President’s Special Envoy for Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev.

The two delegations discussed the agendas of the international meeting and coordination of the stances of the two parties on the topics on the agenda of the international meeting.

The 21st international meeting on Syria kicked off Wednesday morning in the Kazakh capital, with the participation of the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic and the delegations of the countries guarantor states of  the Astana Process:  Russia, Iran and Turkey.
