Syrians reject the interference in their country, Olvera says

Head of the Friendship Group with Syria in the Cuban Parliament, Lesara Coruna Olvera, confirmed that the elections for the People’s Assembly embodied the Syrian people’s rejection of interference in their country and their insistence on defending its national sovereignty.

In a statement published on her Facebook page, Oliveira said that the elections were a political victory for Syria on the military and economic aggression by United States and its proxies.

It is to be mentioned that Olvera has called for the lifting of economic coercive sanctions on Syria, especially during the Corona pandemic, stressing that these measures prevent the Syrian government from fighting the Corona pandemic, and are considered as a criminal act against The Syrian people.
