The ambassador said the 2nd meeting of national dialogue is due to be held soon in Damascus and it will lead to form a national reconciliation committee.

Iran’s policy

Meanwhile, the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman said the western countries do not want to solve the crisis in Syria and restore stability to it because they seek to serve the Zionist entity’s interest.

Ramin Mehmanparast underscored that Iran’s policy is based on defending the Syrian people’s rights, halting violence, holding national dialogue and restoring stability to Syria without foreign intervention, according to Iran’s Mehr News Agency.
