Syrians in the Occupied Golan: The Golan will Remain Syrian, Arab

OCCUPIED GOLAN, (ST) _ The Syrian people in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights emphasized that the Golan will remain an Arab Syrian and the national Identity they approved in 1981 is their sacred constitution in the face of occupation.

In a statement issued yesterday and read at a rally at f Sultan Pasha al-Atrash square center of occupied Majdal Shams, the Syrian people in the Golan said that “the victorious resistance mounted by the people of the Golan fail the Zionist schemes that target Golan’s land and people.”

The statement categorically denied recent statements made by the Zionist Knesset member “Elite Shaked” in which he claimed that several ranking figures in the occupied Golan asked the occupation authorities, to grant them Israeli citizenship.

Our people in the Golan Heights, the statement read,  pointed out that these statements are fabricated and fall in the context of attempts made by the occupation authorities to pass Israeli schemes to disrupt their unwavering national position in emphasizing categorical rejection of the Israeli nationality.
