Rev. Matanios talked about his experience during the 14 years he spent in Jerusalem noting that, “Jerusalem day should be commemorated, because we believe Jerusalem is the capital of heavenly religions, rather than specific to a particular religion.”

He also spoke about religious coexistence in Syria and the West mastermind- war to divide the region and exploit its resources, stressing that Muslims all over the world unmasked the truth concerning Daesh terrorists and other criminal gangs that are offensive to the Islamic religion by murder and destruction.

For his part, Sheikh De Palma explained to the Syrian community in Italy how religious coexistence featured in Syria and how church bells in Hasaka, rang for fasting Muslims because of power outage at the hands of criminal gangs, stressing that the West has committed the biggest historic mistake in supporting terrorism which will rebound to their homes.

Sheikh De Palma pointed the Israeli entity components and the caliphate state in Iraq and al-Sham as terrorist gangs that have come from all over the world to occupy the region and control over its resources.
