Syrians in Czech: Syrian Martyrs Foiled Gulf States-Turkish Plan to Overthrow the State

PRAGUE,(ST)_ Members of the Syrian community in the Czech Republic  have extended tribute to Syria’s martyrs, expressing pride and appreciation for the great sacrifices offered by brave Syrian army and people in the “heroic struggle” against terrorism and takfiri forces and their supporters, including Gulf states, Turkey and some Western countries.

In a statement issued today in Prague, marking the Martyrs Day, members of the Syrian community stressed that “thanks to the pure blood of the country’s martyrs and their heroism over the past four years, they foiled the western, Gulf and Turkish plan to overthrow the Syrian state and the central role played by Syria, and therefore their sacrifices will remain an impetus in the mind and heart of every Syrian citizen to protect every inch of the homeland.”

The statement renewed full confidence in the Syrian army and its ability to achieve victory, and continue to eliminate hotbeds of terrorism, as well as the protection of the nation’s unity and citizens’ security.
