Syrians in Bulgaria Highlighted Great Meanings of Evacuation Anniversary

The Syrian community in Bulgaria organized yesterday a celebration and a Photography exhibition, marking the 69th Evacuation anniversary of the French occupation from Syria.

In a speech during the event which was supervised by the Syrian embassy in Bulgaria Magdalena Taheva, member of the Bulgarian NPC “Otaka” party stressed Bulgaria’s support for Syria and that extremists from the US, Turkey and “Israel”, Qatar, Saudi Arabia were behind the so-called “Arab spring”.

Taheva noted that projects of the extremists and their supporters have been collided by Syria‘s steadfastness that enabled the Syrian people from preventing the spread of extremist regimes in the Middle East.

She added that “the war waged by the Syrian people against terrorism for four years has called on the whole world to see and know from where the Syrian leadership and President Bashar al-Assad have inspired their strength, “stressing belief that President Assad, is no longer president of Syria only, but for the Arab States because he could show all Arab peoples how a President can maintain the dignity, integrity and independence of his country and people. “

“The evil countries in the world, represented by the US, began to fall,”Taheva stressed, voicing her party full support and solidarity with Syria and its people, chanting, “Long live Syria and Bulgaria,”

For her part, the Syrian Ambassador in Bulgaria Nadera Sayyaf highlighted values and meanings of the evacuation anniversary, which has been enshrined by the heroes of the Syrian revolution against the French colonialists, and the importance of independence in building modern Syria and its leading role regionally and internationally on the ground of its free political, economic and social decision.

She also demonstrated the ancient and modern colonial ambitions in the Levant region, in general and Syria, in particular.

Ambassador Sayyaf focused on the role played by many countries in the world in the terrorist colonial global war against Syria and the use of the “Arab Spring” pretext to conspire against Syria by sending terrorists, weapons and the destruction of infrastructure, schools and monuments in order to eliminate Syria’s identity, cultural heritage and central role in the region.

She hailed the steadfastness of the great Syrian people against the siege, injustice and terrorism in its ugliest forms, stressing that Syria under the leadership of President al-Assad, brave army and conscious people will triumph against terror and the creative chaos agenda.

Vice President of the Syrian community in Bulgaria FatenTataritalked about the greatness of independence and how occupation was defeated as a result of the sacrifices of the Syrian people by thousands of martyrs for achieving independence.

The ceremony was attended by members of the diplomatic corps in Bulgaria, GeorgiSingalevics head of youth Organization in “Otaka” party, representatives from several popular Bulgarian bodies and a crowd of Syrians, Bulgarians and Arabs in Bulgaria.
