Syrians celebrate the victory of President Bashar al-Assad and raise the banner of hope for work

Governorates (ST): After the success of the long election day and the announcement of the results with the victory of Dr. Bashar Hafez al-Assad as President of the Republic by an absolute majority, Syrian people in all Syrian governorates flocked to the streets and main squares nation-wide to celebrate the great event  which is a new victory added to Syria’s political victories.

Millions of Syrians  raised national flags and chanted with joy, “We are with you with hope and work” for the next seven years and reaffirming the rallying of the Syrian people around their leadership and insistence on the unity and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic and the independence of popular decision in order to consolidate the military victory and preserve the blood of the martyrs.
