Syrians Capable to Attain National Reconciliation

Al- SWEIDA, (ST)- Skeikh Akel for Mouhdeen Dorouz Moslems Hakmat al-Hajari has asserted complete rejection of foreign intervention in Syria’s internal affairs. He also expressed full support for any initiative aiming at putting an end to the crisis in Syria.

During a meeting held recently with members of the international delegation for peace and solidarity, Skeikh Hakmat said that the Syrians are capable to end their ordeal through dialogue, reiterating that the only legal weapon on the Syrian land is the Syrian Arab Army’s weapon and any other weapon is illegal and terroristic.

He also added that the current developments in Syria target the Syrian people’s existence and national unity in order to serve certain foreign agendas, asserting complete rejection of foreign interference in the country and expressing full support for national dialogue as the only way out of the crisis.

Skeikh Hakmat also called on all the Syrians to adopt the language of logic and dialogue to reach national reconciliation .

Members of the delegation, for their parts, spoke about Syrians’ coexistence and national unity. They stressed that the current war on Syria neither related to religious causes nor to a sectarian conflict.

They also asserted that the Syrian people is capable to reach national reconciliation due to their civilized position and education.

The international delegation comprises 16 personalities, including media men, activists from the United States of America, Australia, Canada, Brazil and Lebanon, in addition to members of the Syrian Popular Committee for National Reconciliation.
