Syrian youth team ties with its UAE counterpart

Abu Dhabi , (ST) – Syria’s youth football team tied with its UAE counterpart on Wednesday with 2-2 in a friendly match in preparation for the West Asian Championship to be hosted by Iraq next month.

 Hassan Dahan and Zakaria Ramadan scored for the Syrian team in the 20th and 50th minutes, while Sultan Amiri and Nabil Fairouz scored for the UAE team in the 40th and 42nd minutes.

This match comes within the training camp that the Syrian team has conducted in the United Arab Emirates, where it will meet its Emirati counterpart in a second friendly match on the sixteenth of this month.
