Syrian Youth Football Team Wins against the Mariana Islands Team in the Asian Cup Qualifiers

Amman (ST) – The Syrian Youth football team achieved a great victory against the Mariana Island team, with ten goals without return, for the fourth group in the qualifiers for the Asian Cup held in Jordan

Our team opened its qualifiers campaign recently by defeating Chinese Taipei with a 1-0 win, and our team will meet in its third match with Jordan next Fridaybefore concluding the qualifiers against Turkmenistan on the eighteenth of this month.

The squad of our team in the match included Muhammad Hassouni, Khaled Al-Hajja, Ali Al-Rina, Malik Janair, Hassan Dahan, Mahmoud Al-Nayef, Mahmoud Al-Aswad, Al-Miqdad Ahmed, Hozan Othman, Muhannad Fadel and Muhammad Asaad.

The first place in each group qualifies to the Asian finals, along with the best five teams that get second place in the ten groups of qualifiers, to join the hosts of the tournament, Uzbekistan.
