Syrian wrestler Omar Sarem qualifies for semifinals of the Mediterranean Beach Games

The Syrian wrestling team player Omar Sarem has qualified for the semifinals of the Mediterranean Beach Games held currently in the Greek city of Heraklion with the participation of 26 countries competing in 13 games.

Sarem topped his group after defeating the Italian champions 3-1, Algerian champion 2-0, and the Greek champion 3-0, and he will meet in the semifinal with the French champion this evening.

 Our delegation participates in the tournament in wrestling, represented by player Omar Sarem, and karate “kata”, represented by players Alfat Bermbo and Hadeel Abu Raslan.
