Syrian wrestler al-Hassan wins bronze medal at Mediterranean Games

Madrid – Wrestler Abdul Karim al-Hassan won the bronze medal at the 2018 Mediterranean Games currently held in Tarragona, Spain, SANA reported.

Al-Hassan gained the bronze medal in the Romanian wrestling after beating the Greek wrestler Apostolos Manouilidis 12/4 at competitions of 67 kg division within the semifinals.

Earlier, al-Hassan was qualified for the quarterfinals after beating the Portuguese wrestler Pedro Caldas 9/0.

Al-Hassan expressed happiness to make this achievement, asserting that his ambitions will not stop at the Mediterranean Games and that he will exert more efforts to make more achievements in the coming championships.
