Syrian Workers in Lebanon: The Syrian Arab Army is a symbol of sacrifice and heroism

Beirut, (ST) – The League of Syrian Arab Workers in Lebanon affirmed that the Syrian Arab Army, since its foundation, has been a symbol of sacrifice, heroism and the protector of pan-Arabism at all times and places.

The League said in a statement on Wednesday on the occasion of the 78th foundation anniversary of the Syrian Arab Army: “The valiant Syrian army managed to preserve the unity of the Syrian soil and defend our people and their national capabilities in the face of terrorism,” voicing the workers support for the army’s efforts in defense of the homeland

The league stressed that the Syrian workers in Lebanon pledge their loyalty to the army and reiterate that they will continue to be Syria’s soldiers both in the war and in the reconstruction phase.

Meanwhile in Egypt, the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students in Egypt affirmed that the Syrian Arab Army will remain an icon of victory and a source of pride due to its sacrifices and heroism to protect the homeland and defend its soil.

The Union branch said in a statement: On the 78th foundation anniversary of the Syrian Arab Army, Syria is proceeding with confident steps on the path to victory thanks to the brave army’s heroic efforts to undermine the foundations of terrorism.

The statement added: We, the Syrian students studying in Egypt congratulate the heroes of our Syrian Arab Army on their day, and we promise them that we will remain loyal soldiers, working with them so that Syria remains unified and strong.

The statement saluted the souls of Syria’s honorable martyrs and the wounded personnel who fought aggressors to protect the homeland. It stressed confidence in Syria’s victory over terrorism and it its ability to recover and restore security and stability.
