Syrian women empowerment activities continue despite crisis
Social Affairs Minister has underscored that continuity of the Syrian women empowerment activities proves the Syrian people’s steadfastness in the war being waged on the country.
Rema Qadri’s remark was made Sunday during graduation ceremony of women and girls trained in a project called ‘ your creativity is from you and inside you’.
The ceremony was held by charity associations, the United Nation Development Program and the ‘Sanaya’Educational Organization in the Kafer Souseh cultural center in Damascus and it synchronized with exhibition for mothers’ products.
The products were made from simple materials, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ‘al-Ghada’ Charity Association Sareya al-Serawan said, adding that the project aims to enhance creative thinking and love among people in the community and to create job opportunity for mothers after training them on how to produce handmade products.
