Syrian wins a Bronze medal at the 19th Asian Games

The Syrian national boxing team player Ahmed Ghosoun won the bronze medal of the 80 kg competition at the 19th Asian Games currently being held in the Chinese city of Khanzhou.

The Syrian player Ghosoun qualified for the semi-finals after defeating the South Korean champion and the Tajikistan champion, only to lose at the semi-final against  the Philippine champion.

It is worth mentioning that this is the first medal for Syria in the tournament, as it  participates  in equestrian, athletics, and wrestling in addition to boxing.
