Damascus – A military source said Tuesday that a Syrian warplane was shot down by a surface-to-air missile in the countryside of Aleppo.
The source added that the surface-to-air missile was launched by the terrorist organizations. The plane had been on a reconnaissance mission over the countryside of Aleppo.
According to the source the pilot descended by parachute and work is underway to rescue him.
