Syrian warplane shot down over Quneitra, military source confirms

QUNEITRA,(ST)_Israeli occupation forces have shot down a Syrian warplane over Quneitra, as Syrian army targets terrorist groupings on several fronts.

A military source said the Israeli occupation forces shot down Tuesday a Syrian warplane over Quneitra in the framework of Israel’s support for the terrorist Daesh [the State of Iraq and the Levant]  and al-Nusra Front organizations.

 The source pointed out that shooting down the Syrian warplane breaches the UN resolution No.2170.

Five days ago, a field commander in a terrorist group asked Israel to impose a no-fly zone over the Golan and Quneitra in order to prevent the Syrian warplanes from striking the sites recently taken by the terrorist groups.

The Israeli hospitals have received a lot of terrorists wounded during fighting with Syrian army over the past months.
