Syrian Voices: Participation in the presidential elections is the culmination of political and military victory over terrorism
Damascus (ST): A number of citizens have unanimously underlined the importance of participating in the upcoming presidential elections, as it is a national duty and a constitutional right for every Syrian citizen, considering that holding this constitutional event on time is a message of steadfastness and defiance for states that support terrorism that have not been able to penetrate the unity of the Syrian ranks.
Abdel Nasser Ma’atouk and Abbas Sa’eed expressed the importance of broad popular participation in the presidential elections as it is the duty of every citizen entitled to participate, pointing out that holding the elections on time is a victory for the Syrian will and a continuation of the military victory in the war on terrorism.
For his part, Abu Essam affirmed his readiness to participate in the elections, believing in the necessity to participate in the sovereign decision-making, which is part of democratic life, while Abu Sa’eed clarified that holding the elections on time despite the terrorist war and the economic blockade confirms that Syria and Syrians are pursuing their democratic life.
Amer Al-Ayoubi explained that holding the presidential elections on time is the culmination of the military and political victory in the terrorist war, and it is a response to everyone who wants to undermine the stability and sovereignty of Syria, while Abu Ahmed said: “Participation in the elections is a national duty and a constitutional right for every Syrian citizen who loves his country as the homeland and the people are one link and they complement each other.”
For his part, Mahmoud Alloush said that participating in the elections is an expression of democracy and freedom to choose whoever represents us, and an affirmation that the Syrian people are concerned with self-determination and sovereignty.
Muhammad Wanous said that the completion of the elections on the specified date is an internal matter related to the decision of the Syrian people, who have stood firm in the face of the Western campaigns that try to disrupt and obstruct the conduct of this constitutional entitlement.
In their turn, Hussein Kanifati and Haifa Al-Ali noted that conducting presidential elections on time depicts the independence of the Syrian decision and its rejection of foreign interference, stressing that the presidential elections are a Syrian option and a purely domestic matter and a step in forming a brighter future for Syria.
