Syrian Trust for Development ends first stage of distributing donations for fire-affected families in Lattakia

The Syrian Trust for Development has completed the first stage of distributing donations estimated at 6.215 billion Syrian pounds as financial aid to the citizens who were affected by recent fires in Lattakia province.

In a statement on Saturday, the Trust said that the distribution process lasted for 13 days and covered 15881 affected people in 231 villages, pointing out that these donations were collected over the past weeks from Syrian citizens who wanted to express their solidarity with their fellow citizens in Lattakia.

The Trust indicated that another stage will start shortly to distribute more donations to cover almost all the farmers whose lands and crops were burned.
